An energetic boy who never seems to part with his orange headphones that is found around his neck. At first impresseion, he seems ackward and somewhat clumsy, often found by the protagonist in ackward situation (for example, in the trash can). He is a comic relief and seems to often get himself in strange and sometimes, troublesome situations with the other team mates. He came from the city just like the protagonist, and had found Inaba boring. When Saki-senpai had been murdered, Yosuke had taken upon himself to solve the mystery with the protagonist when he had first discovered that the world in the TV may be connected. He often said things like "We're the only ones who can do it" and "it's up to us".



In reality, Yosuke later realizes that it was not like a game where a hero goes and saves the day. He wanted to be someone who is special and different from everyone elses. This is related in to why this fanlisting is named Roleplaying Hero than anything else. Yosuke's father also owns Junes is often being pestered by the employees, and is taken advantage of in order for the employees to get what they wanted.

Yosuke's shadow was a cartoon hero ontop of a frog. It represents his childish behavior as well as his resentment in living out in such a boring little town with little to nothing to do. The hero represents how he wanted to play hero or be someone special. His starter persona is Jiraiya, a little red scarfed super hero character. It's capable of using both wind spells and healing magic. Yosuke's weapons are mainly two-handed weapon/knives. Once his social link is maxed out, Jiraiya will transform into Susano-o. Throughout the course of maxing his social link, Yosuke will talk about his unrequited feelings for Saki Konishi and how the protagonist will help him settle this feelings.
